Site Engineer

About the role

The Site Engineer will be based in Kuwait City and will manage daily construction activities on IBH projects. Reporting to senior project leadership, the role ensures that work is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and agreed timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily site operations, supervising workmanship and material usage.
• Collaborate with civil and structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers to keep the project on schedule.
• Monitor progress, identify technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular inspections, enforce safety and compliance requirements, and ensure adherence to local codes.
• Prepare site reports, maintain accurate documentation, and support overall project planning.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to align activities with IBH’s standards and objectives.

Required profile

• Proven on‑site experience supervising construction activities and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication abilities for interaction with engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Solid background in quality control and inspection to guarantee compliance with design and safety regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in building or infrastructure projects, preferably within architecture, design or real‑estate environments.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, local codes and regulations.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and work with attention to detail in a fast‑paced site environment.
