Solar Engineer

About the role

Electronica is looking for a Solar Engineer to design, install and commission solar power systems across residential, commercial and industrial projects in Kuwait. The role combines technical design, component selection and on‑site supervision to deliver reliable renewable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design solar power systems for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
• Prepare technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Select appropriate components such as solar panels, inverters, cables and protection devices.
• Integrate solar installations with energy‑storage solutions, including battery systems.
• Supervise installation works and ensure high‑quality execution.
• Conduct testing, commissioning and performance monitoring of completed systems.
• Coordinate with technical teams, contractors and suppliers throughout project phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience in the solar energy sector.
• Good knowledge of engineering design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
• Ability to manage projects and work effectively within a team.
