Solar Technician

About the role

Electronica is looking for a Solar Energy Technician to join its team in Kuwait. The role involves installing, commissioning and maintaining solar photovoltaic systems on rooftops and ground‑mounted sites, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Install solar panels on rooftops and ground‑mounted structures.
• Fit mounting systems and adjust panel angles and orientation.
• Connect DC cables between solar modules.
• Install inverters, protection panels and related electrical components.
• Assist with system testing, commissioning and safety inspections.
• Perform solar panel cleaning and routine preventive maintenance.
• Follow all site safety procedures and technical guidelines.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in solar energy, electrical technology or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in solar PV installation or maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and solar PV components.
• Ability to work outdoors and safely at heights.
• Reliable, disciplined and able to work effectively as part of a team.
