About the role
The Head Waiter leads the front‑of‑house team, supervising waiters, waitresses and runners to deliver high‑quality service in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities
- Recommend food and beverages, take orders and communicate them to kitchen/bar staff.
- Supervise service and ensure compliance with brand procedures and standards.
- Handle bill payments, complaints and escalate complex issues to management.
- Prepare daily orders for the storekeeper and conduct inventory counts of crockery, cutlery and condiments.
- Participate in opening and closing procedures, including tip counting and quality checks.
- Conduct briefings, training and performance monitoring for the team.
Required profile
- Technical degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Two to four years of experience in food & beverage operations or a similar role.
Required skills
- Food and beverage preparation techniques.
