Project Manager - Design & Construction, Real Estate Services

About the role

Halliburton is looking for a Project Manager for its Real Estate Services function in the KGL Logistics Area, Mina Abdullah, Kuwait. The role plans and manages projects covering design, construction, renovation or replacement of office, laboratory, manufacturing, warehouse, service centre and site infrastructure facilities, and supervises up to 20 subcontract employees.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage assigned real estate projects under broad direction, including design, construction, renovation or replacement of company facilities.
• Supervise up to 20 subcontract employees through subordinates.
• Coordinate diverse activities within a functional area, plan work and administer policies.
• Hold budgetary accountability or directly impact a revenue centre's viability or service quality.
• Contribute directly to value creation.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering, architecture or business administration; a degree in engineering with project or construction management preferred.
• 12 to 15 years of experience in project management, preferably with a project management consultancy or construction company.
• Experience in oil and gas construction with practical project management (PMP certification preferred).
• Registered with PMI or an equivalent body preferred.
• Self-motivated, results-driven and able to work independently under high pressure with short turnaround times and multiple simultaneous projects.
• Must submit project profiles for the last three completed projects.

Required skills

• MS Project and SAP competence.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is beneficial.
