Site Merchandising Assistant Manager

About the role

The Site Merchandising Assistant Manager supports the Lead Site Merchandising in delivering the on-site product experience strategy, manages the team's day-to-day operations and drives conversion performance across the full site. The role takes ownership of complex site merchandising workstreams, deputises for the Manager and prepares for full functional management accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on-site curation and placement across the full category portfolio, and own seasonal campaign and promotional builds end-to-end, managing timelines and quality
• Keep the on-site product experience aligned with Floward's commercial and brand priorities, and maintain the merchandising playbook, standards, processes and sequencing logic
• Monitor conversion across the site, run weekly performance reviews, lead A/B testing and turn results into sequencing and content improvements
• Identify navigation, discovery and placement gaps, implement corrective actions and present performance analysis to the Site Merchandising Manager
• Give commercial on-site insight to Buying and Merchandising teams at trading reviews
• Manage and develop the team of Specialists, Senior Officers and Officers, set priorities, review content output, maintain the launch calendar and coach on brand standards and storytelling
• Deputise for the Manager during absence and represent the function cross-functionally
• Contribute to launch planning and trading sessions, coordinate with CRCO on pre-publish content readiness and go-live approvals, brief D&I on visual assets and align with Buying on product prioritisation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, Digital or a related field
• 6-8 years in site or digital merchandising with team management and full-site ownership experience
• Proven experience implementing and scaling Algolia search in a production e-commerce environment
